The standoff adapter fits between your weapon light body and your mount to give clearance for HOG and Piglet heads in situations where your rail or suppressor interferes with the clearance of the light head.
The adapter mounts to your light body via included screws and then attaches just like any normal light body to "scout pattern" mounts, such as arisaka mounts
